The vehicle had been repaired by the dealer for an unknown recall for the anti-theft system. The vehicle was stolen, and the anti-theft feature failed to function as designed. A Police report was filed; however, the police report was not available. The dealer was not made aware of the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.
