Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2020 Chevrolet Blazer. The contact stated while attempting to shift to park, the engine remained running, and the message "Shift to Park" was displayed. A mechanic was called to diagnose the vehicle, and the contact was informed that the transmission control, shifter harness, inline shifter wiring harness jumper, park switch, and other related components were faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 77,340.
