Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the contact noticed a gasoline odor coming from the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the injector seals had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 165,660.
