Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2020 Ford Transit. The contact stated that while attempting to drive from a complete stop, the vehicle briefly hesitated before suddenly jolting forward, prompting the contact to pull over to the shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the transmission. The contact was informed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 136,000.
