The contact owns a 2016 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the brake pedal was depressed, and went to the floorboard. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle failed to stop until the contact applied the parking brake. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed that the ABS module and pump had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 96,000.
