The vehicle was diagnosed, and it was determined that the clock spring needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and opened a case. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and transferred the contact to the warranty Headquarters located in Florida. The approximate failure mileage was 140,000.
