NHTSA Complaint #11643088 — 2022 GMC SIERRA 3500

The GM N242454440 “collision Rear Wheel Lock Up from Transmission Valve Failure” was performed. The recall rendered the electrical charging system inoperable. GM engineering has been working on the vehicle for more than one month and recently determined that the recall software does not work properly with all vehicles. My truck is being returned to me without the recall being performed. Accordingly the safety hazard associated with rear wheel lockup has not been addressed and cannot be addressed at this time. Presumably GM will develop software in the future to address the safety condition. Meanwhile the safety hazard remains unaddressed for my vehicle and an unknown number others.
