The contact stated that the vehicle was towed back to the same dealer. The contact stated that the dealer had diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the VANOS solenoids had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure of the VANOS solenoids to the recall repair of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V707000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The manufacturer was informed of the failure.
