NHTSA Complaint #11641345 — 2019 JAGUAR I-PACE

The contact owns a 2019 Jaguar I-Pace. The contact stated that upon attempting to charge the vehicle, the contact observed that the vehicle would not hold a charge above 80%. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the hybrid battery finding that it did not have the capacity to exceed a charge above 80%. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V633000 (Electrical System); but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 32,000.
