NHTSA Complaint #11632170 — 2024 HONDA CR-V

The Honda dealership replaced the steering gear box as required by the recent recall. After picking up my vehicle, I noticed that the Blindspot alert system was not working. The cross traffic monitor was not working. The side mirror was not beeping nor lighting up. The arrows and beeping did not occur when vehicles were driving behind me while in reverse. It appears that the sensors/radar had been disconnected or disabled although the dash settings show that they are on. After taking the vehicle back, the dealership lied and said that my 2024 Honda CRV EX had never been equipped with those sensors. They were working perfectly fine before I took the vehicle in. The dealership is denying fraudulent activity and jeopardizing the safety equipment of my vehicle and the safety of myself and others. I bought the EX model specifically because of those standard features. Honda should repair and replace any damaged or removed sensors as a result of the dealers errors and fraudulent activity.
