The contact owns a 2011 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the power steering became inoperable. The power steering failure warning light was illuminated. The service track error message was displayed. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V340000 (Steering). The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who informed the contact there was no coverage for the repair. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted.
