Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2012 Ford F-150. The contact stated while reversing, the back-over prevention camera image was displayed on the wrong side of the screen, creating a visibility hazard. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed and determined that the camera unit was faulty and needed to be replaced. The backup camera was replaced, and the vehicle was repaired. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 250,000.
