NHTSA Complaint #11631129 — 2022 TOYOTA CAMRY

[xxx] my husband and I hit a deer. The airbags did not deploy. My husband has been seen at and getting treatment from Scott and White in Temple Texas both inpatient and outpatient. He has a spinal cord injury from the wreck. Our car is surely totalled. . . My husband has used all of his acquired sick time, as well as vacation time. Also, we were just notified today (December 17, 2024) from his job, Tractor Supply, that HR requested my husband to take a leave of absence. My husband does not have health insurance. Everything is put of pocket expense wise. . . We did not and have not received any safety recalls by mail nor by email. If we had been notified, I would have taken our vehicle to be properly inspected prior to the accident. . . My husband, [XXX] , has been seriously injured. Our vehicle is a Toyota Camry 2022, VIN # [XXX] When we purchased our vehicle, it was brand new, fresh off the lot.
