The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that the vehicle was in Hawaii and was unable to be shipped back to the residence because with a recall that could result in a fire. The contact stated that the vehicle had overheated while driving, and the lights on the instrument panel flashed. There were no warning lights illuminated. The dealer was contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 28,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
