NHTSA Complaint #11628720 — 2023 TOYOTA CROWN

I bought the car in September 2023. The first time I found that the blind spot light of the left rearview mirror was not on was in February 2024. Because the blind spot light was not on and I didn't see any vehicles in the rearview mirror, I almost hit the car behind me when I changed lanes. The other party honked at me to show dissatisfaction. I found that the blind spot light on the left was not on, but the blind spot light on the right was normal. I recorded a video at the time. So I reported the situation when I changed the oil at the Toyota dealer in Ramsey, NY. They replied that everything was normal. Today, [XXX], I encountered the same problem again. When I changed lanes, I almost hit the vehicle behind me. I also recorded a video. This failure brought me serious anxiety and safety hazards. One thing to add is that this situation often occurs when the remote start is used with a mobile phone or car key.
