NHTSA Complaint #11625384 — 2023 ENERGICA EVA RIBELLE

When the motorcycle's handlebars are turned right of the 12 o'clock position power shuts off completely until the handlebars are turned back to the 12 o'clock position or further left. This happens regardless if the motorcycle is off with the kick stand out or on while riding and using the throttle. The uploaded file labelled "email 1.pdf" has a YouTube link that shows the problem. If this link does not work a video of the motorcycle and the problem that occurs can be provided. If the motorcycle loses power while in a right turn I risk the possibility of getting hit from behind by another vehicle endangering myself and other drivers. The problem has not been reproduced by the dealer because since November 3rd the dealer has yet to pick up the motorcycle and inspect it. The uploaded pdf files are conversations between myself and an authorized dealer for the motorcycle. The dealer suggests a repair by the manufacturer would be from their goodwill and not a requirement despite having a warranty for the motorcycle. I have also spoken with the manufacturer (Stefano 415-243-6355) and after stating I have made multiple attempts to have two authorized dealers fix the motorcycle it was suggested that I try looking at the wires and fixing it myself.
