Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving approximately 45 MPH for an hour, there was an abnormally loud clunking sound coming from the vehicle. The vehicle lost motive power and was jerking. The contact was able to pullover safely into a parking lot. The contact stated that the message “Anti-collision System Offline” was displayed. There were no warning lights illuminated. The local dealer was contacted and confirmed that there were no recalls for the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and confirmed there were no recalls for the failure and referred the contact to the local dealer and the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 88,000.
