NHTSA Complaint #11615372 — 2018 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA

The contact owns a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia. The contact stated while driving approximately 15 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power and stalled and failed to immediately restart. The vehicle was eventually restarted; however, while driving approximately 50 MPH on a freeway, the vehicle stalled again. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer who diagnosed that the fuel pump had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The contact was informed of the NHTSA Action Number: PE24003 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall.
