The contact owns a 2022 Kia EV6. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V200000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle lost motive power. The contact stated that a battery message was displayed. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer, but the diagnostic result was unavailable. The vehicle was repaired on three separate occasions: however, the failure reoccurred. The contact stated that approximately 15 hours were needed to fully charge the battery. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
