Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2024 Harley Davidson FLTRXSTSE Road Glide ST Motorcycle. The contact stated while riding 70 MPH, the motorcycle lost motive power. There was no warning light illuminated. The motorcycle was unable to restart, and the contact disconnected and reconnected the fuse box; however, there was a ticking sound upon restart. The contact was able to ride to the residence and had the motorcycle towed the next day to the dealer. The dealer was unable to determine a cause for the failure and could not duplicate the failure. The dealer towed the motorcycle back to the residence. The contact stated that while riding a week later the failure reoccurred and the motorcycle was towed back to the dealer. The contact stated that the motorcycle was connected to a diagnostic machine and blew the electrical system. The manufacturer was contacted, and a case was opened. The contact was awaiting information on the possible repair from the dealer and the manufacturer. The failure mileage was 140.
