NHTSA Complaint #11611047 — 2019 HONDA PILOT

Overblown colorful backup camera image. Backup camera stopped working properly on 2019 Honda Pilot Elite SUV. Image has very bright red yellow and purple colors (like night vision) and the rear image is no longer legible. This is now a safety hazard as the driver is unable to view people, vehicles, and other obstructions while backing up the SUV. Need Honda to cover the repair and replacement of the backup camera under warranty. This appears to be a widespread issue for 2019 models that Honda dealers are not covering free of charge based on forum threads: [XXX] Please investigate immediately and have Honda cover this as a recall before this becomes a widespread issue affecting thousands of cars with non-functional backup cameras.
