NHTSA Complaint #11609762 — 2019 ACURA RDX

The contact owns a 2019 Acura RDX. The contact stated while driving approximately 65 MPH, the instrument cluster showed several warning lights. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled, and the contact was able to pull off the roadway. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle, and had the vehicle towed to a dealer. The dealer diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the fuel pump had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The contact had researched online and related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.
