NHTSA Complaint #11601582 — 2022 JEEP WAGONEER

While driving on [XXX] towards Vail, Co—the Jeep Wagoneer suddenly stopped accelerating while going up the side of the mountain. Lights on the dashboard were lit up, including the braking light. I was in the right hand lane, so luckily there was a shoulder on the side of the road, albeit very shallow, that I got into and immediately called roadside assistance from the vehicle. Prior to this moment, I had been driving for a little over an hour with no issue or warning. The safety concern is high, especially since I was on [XXX] accelerating up a mountain with lots of traffic behind me.
