Consumer Description

If you have the child locks engaged on the driver side door controls, the back locks will continuously click as if they are trying to lock/unlock. This can happen when opening the locks with the fob, or randomly while driving. There are multiple reports of this issue on online forums such as Reddit, [XXX] , etc. This should be considered as a known safety issue with the potential to impact the health and wellbeing of children riding in the back of Hyundai models, yet no recall is in place to address it. Multiple owners have reported dealing with Hyundai dealerships on this issue at this time, not sure why Hyundai is dragging their feet in addressing this obvious safety concern???
