NHTSA Complaint #11595692 — 2007 NISSAN MURANO

The contact owns a 2007 Nissan Murano. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the rear subframe cracked. After inspecting the vehicle, the contact became aware that the subframe was very rusted. The vehicle was not repaired or diagnosed by an independent mechanic or local dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 145,000.
