Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2016 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the ABS, Emergency Brakes, and Check Engine warning lights remained illuminated. Additionally, while driving at various speeds, the vehicle suddenly switched to LIMP Mode and failed to properly accelerate while depressing the accelerator pedal. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the ABS module was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 79,000.
