Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2018 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while in reverse(R), he observed a loud noise emanating from the engine compartment. Additionally, the steering wheel failed to move as needed. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that that the steering gear needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 23,000.
