The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Liberty. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormally strong fuel odor coming from the vehicle. The contact stated that the fuel gauge failed to operate as intended. The contact stated that after refueling the vehicle the fuel gauge failed to provide the proper fuel level. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with fuel injector failure. The vehicle was repaired.
