NHTSA Complaint #11593018 — 2015 CHEVROLET COLORADO

The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. The contact stated that while driving at 70 MPH, the vehicle to her right lane was struck by a vehicle behind it causing the vehicle on the right lane to spin out and hit her vehicle. The contact stated her vehicle was struck on the right center of the passenger side. No air bags deployed. No warning lights were illuminated. A police report was filed. No injuries were sustained. The vehicle was not towed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to call the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 157,000.
