The contact owns a 2020 Ford Escape. The contact stated that after stopping to refuel the vehicle, the front driver’s side door would not fully close shut. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed that the hinges needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired and was left at the local dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 64,000.
