NHTSA Complaint #11589965 — 2022 GENESIS GV70

The contact owns a 2022 Genesis Supreme Vortex Toy Hauler equipped with Sailun Tires, Tire Line: S637, Tire Size: 235/85/R16, and DOT Number: XXXX that was hitched to a 2006 GMC Sierra. The contact stated while driving at approximately 50 MPH, the front driver's side tire tread had separated off the tire and would not retain air. The failure occurred during a long-distance camping trip and fortunately, the RV had a spare tire. The contact replaced the front driver-side tire with the spare tire. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 21T018000 (Tires) however, the tire line was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance.
