The contact owns a 2023 Ford Transit. The contact researched online and became aware that the VIN was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V102000 (Power Train) however, the dealer refused to honor the recall and charged the contact for the repair. The contact stated that the manufacturer did not honor the recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact stated that during an oil change at the dealer, the contact requested that the rear axle be inspected. The contact was informed that the rear axle bearings and differential assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the dealer charged the contact for the repair.
