NHTSA Complaint #11588219 — 2022 FORD MAVERICK HYBRID

Drove my car home and parked in my driveway with no issues. 9 hours later when I was about leaving for work, started the car but car won't start. I jumpstarted the car then all of a sudden the (Drive) Shift knob light was flashing, warnings started flashing, hill start assist not available, service vehicle soon, pre collision assist not available, service advance Trac, and parking brake applied automatically and total loss of power. When I pressed on the gas, it wouldn’t go and no throttle response. When I let off the brake and was NOT pressing the gas, it would start to accelerate all on its own up to about 28/29 mph all on its own, acting like it was in cruise control
