Consumer Description
The driver door striker latch came loose and was close to completely disconnecting from the vehicle body. This led to a body panel gap and the possibility of the door opening while in motion. Elon Musk on twitter is saying that a number of vehicles from the factory were delivered to customers for this issue and it is a major safety risk that should be addressed officially.
