Consumer Description

On March [XXX], at [XXX]., on my way to a meeting, my Hyundai Tucson 2019 suddenly lost acceleration at 35mph. Immediately, the engine light came on and flashed very constantly. The acceleration pedal was not able to give more speed. There was a lot of traffic, and it was a very scary moment. I was very close to the Hyundai dealership at 750 N York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126. I spoke with one of their representatives, and I was informed that they would evaluate the problem, but it would be up to two days before they could give a full diagnostic; this step will be $185.00, but they will call me before they do anything with the car.
