Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2017 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while his son was driving at an undisclosed speed, the passenger’s side air bag inadvertently deployed. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who was unable to determine the cause for the air bag deployment. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 107,000.
