The contact owns a 2020 Ford EcoSport. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, there was a rattling sound coming from the engine, and the vehicle would not properly accelerate. Additionally, the oil pressure and service engine warning lights remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who replaced the turbo charger and the catalytic converter, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced but parts were not available. The contact later received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V905000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 53,000.
