NHTSA Complaint #11572863 — 2016 FORD TRANSIT

The contact owns a 2016 Ford Transit. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V767000 (Power Train) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, there was abnormal sound of a lose part underneath the vehicle near the front driver’s side seat and front passenger’s side seat. The dealer was contacted, and it was determined that the failure was related to a driveshaft failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 120,000.
