NHTSA Complaint #11572767 — 2022 CHEVROLET COLORADO

I went to a Chevy Dealership, Ed Morse, Sunrise Fla. for an oil change and they told me I need all 4 new brake pads at estimated mileage of 27000 miles. I was shocked because I never needed brake pads that soon. I called Chevrolet corporate to see if there was something defective that they could tell me about. Chevrolet Customer Service filed a case and told me to take to a dealership in my home town, Tallahassee Florida. I scheduled an appointment with Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. When I went there they told me it would be $199.00 on my credit card. I told them it under warranty and they told me that was their policy. I called Chevy CS and they said that there was nothing they could do. I did tell them this is a safety issue but they didn't care. The brakes are completing worn so there must be an issue with the system for the vehicle to go through brakes so soon. It is driven mostly highway and I am [XXX].
