Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2023 Honda HR-V. The contact stated that while warming up the vehicle with the defroster activated, the rear windshield fractured and separated from the vehicle. The dealer was informed of the failure however, referred the contact to SAFELITE for the windshield replacement. The rear windshield was replaced by SAFELITE. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 14,000.
