The contact received a letter from the manufacturer stating parts were available and to schedule an appointment. The local dealer was contacted and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and stated parts could not be ordered unless the vehicle was already at the dealer or if the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The contact had not experienced a failure. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. Parts distribution disconnect.
