Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that the driver's side sun visor had separated and detached. The contact stated that a new sun visor was purchased online however, the contact was unable to install the part due to a significant amount of dried glue. The contact attempted to scrape off the glue but was unable to remove the glue. The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer, who made the same assessment and informed the contact that the new sun visor could not be installed. The contact stated that the vision of the roadway and the traffic lights were significantly reduced or impaired while driving on a sunny day due to the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.
