NHTSA Complaint #11556420 — 2019 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the windshield seal detached from the vehicle, causing water to leak into the vehicle. The failure caused the instrument panel to become inoperable. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the failure was due to water damage from the detached windshield seal. The repair was pending. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
