Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Focus. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at various speeds, the vehicle lost motive power while the shifting gear. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the TCM needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 147,000.
