Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated while driving approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power and stalled. The vehicle failed to restart and was later towed to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the engine was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The local dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 106,000.
