Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Renegade. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the airbag warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the front driver's airbag module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was informed that the part to complete the repair was on backorder. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 86,461.
