The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Altima. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the passenger’s side rear control arm fractured. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The mechanic confirmed that the control arm had fractured. The contact was informed that the control arm needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000. The VIN was unavailable.
