Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2018 Ford Mustang. The contact stated while driving approximately 15 MPH, the overheated engine message was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was notified of coolant intrusion into cylinder #1. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the engine in the vehicle was no longer being produced. The approximate failure mileage was 23,000.
