Consumer Description

The Engine light came on 3 weeks ago and I took it to the auto shop to find out what is wrong. P1547 is the code that the auto mechanic told me was coming up on the scan. He said it could be the gas cap so I had that replaced, but the light came back on in 2 days. He said that this is the 2nd Jeep Wrangler he has seen with the same engine light and code and believes it has something to do with the fuel system. My Jeep is less than 3 years old and only has 22,556 miles on it. I have only driven it around town and on the highways. Have taken very good care of the vehicle and have replaced the oil as directed. This has to be a manufacturers error and something that is quite concerning if it has to do with the fuel system. Please advise on how to proceed. I will be reaching out to Jeep corporate office as well to let them know about this issue and to see which service center they would like me to take the vehicle to.
