NHTSA Complaint #11540110 — 2021 FORD MUSTANG MACH E

Began to receive error messages stating "Front Camera Fault" and "Forward Collision Detection Fault". For a while it fixed on its own, then the messages started to become more and more frequent until now the error messages come up every time we turn on the car. With the malfunction that is happening with front camera and collision detection, it prevents cruise control from being used (which is adaptive) and forward collision warnings are not working/inactive. The lack of both of these systems presents a safety issue. The car has been taken to the local Ford dealership which has determined what needs to be replaced (the front camera and cables connecting the camera). However the parts must come from the Ford manufacturer and there is current no ETA that the dealership is being given for the parts to be delivered. When searching online for this issue, there are other owners that have experienced this and there is currently a TSB for this issue (TSB 23-2155).
